Mexico INAPAM expands senior discounts and adds credential services at SuperISSSTE stores

Mexico’s Instituto Nacional de las Personas Adultas Mayores (INAPAM) now offers seniors a 5 % discount on clothing, footwear and home goods at participating Suburbia department stores when the INAPAM credential is presented. The discount is part of the government’s benefits directory and applies to eligible purchases in participating branches.

Since August 2020, the program also allows seniors to obtain or renew their INAPAM credential free of charge at SuperISSSTE retail locations nationwide. The procedure follows the same requirements as at official INAPAM offices—birth certificate, official ID, CURP, proof of address and a recent photo—and can be completed in minutes, avoiding long queues. SuperISSSTE stores are located across the country, including multiple sites in Mexico City and many states such as Baja California, Hidalgo, Puebla and others, expanding access to the senior‑benefit program.
