Mexico Extends Welfare Pension Registration for Seniors and Women Until June 28

The federal Secretariat of Well‑Being announced that registration for the Bienestar pensions will remain open nationwide until 28 June 2026. The program covers the “Pensión para Adultos Mayores” for people aged 65 and over and the “Pensión Mujeres Bienestar” for women aged 60‑64. Registration centres operate daily from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. across all 32 states, with schedules organized by the first letter of the registrant’s surname. Required documents include a valid official ID, CURP, birth certificate, recent proof of address and a contact phone number. Those unable to attend in person may request a home‑visit service through the Bienestar website. The deadline and the continued availability of the program aim to ensure broader coverage of social security benefits for the country’s elderly and women population.
