Mexico launches July‑August 2026 Bienestar pension payment schedule

The Secretaría de Bienestar announced that the July‑August 2026 pension payments for the Bienestar programmes will begin on 6 July and run daily through 29 July. Payments are scheduled by the first letter of the beneficiary’s paternal surname, starting with ‘A’ on 6 July and ending with ‘W‑X‑Y‑Z’ on 29 July. The amounts are 6,400 pesos for the Adult Seniors pension, 3,100 pesos for the Women’s Bienestar pension, 3,300 pesos for persons with disabilities, 1,650 pesos for the Mothers Trabajadoras programme and 6,450 pesos for Sembrando Vida. The government said the total social investment for the period January‑July 2026 is about 378 billion pesos.

President Claudia Sheinbaum presented the schedule in a press conference and urged beneficiaries to consult the official calendar rather than crowd banks. The agency also issued an alert about a WhatsApp‑based fraud scheme in which scammers impersonate Banco del Bienestar, asking for personal data and bank details. Authorities stressed that no update of personal information is required to receive payments and warned against sharing CURP, banking credentials or ID photos through unofficial channels.
