Mexico launches seventh edition of Mujer Exporta MX for women-led MSMEs
The Mexican Secretariat of Economy has launched the seventh edition of ‘Mujer Exporta MX’, an initiative designed to strengthen the commercial and export capabilities of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) led by women. This edition focuses specifically on the agro-industry and manufacturing sectors.
The program includes specialized training sessions and B2B business matchmaking meetings scheduled throughout late September. These activities aim to facilitate direct contact between Mexican female entrepreneurs and international buyers from the United States, Canada, and Germany.
Reflecting on previous performance, the 2025 edition saw 332 participants and generated an expected purchase volume of over $1 million. Across its first six editions, the program has supported 667 exporting MSMEs and facilitated an accumulated commercial expectation of $8.56 million.
