Mexico launches telecom network tender for CDMX‑Querétaro‑Irapuato and Saltillo‑Nuevo Laredo rail lines
The Mexican Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT), through the Integrated Trains and Public Transport Agency (ATTRAPI), issued an international public call for the design, supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance of a 5G Standalone railway telecommunications network. The network will serve the 675‑km rail corridors linking Mexico City‑Querétaro‑Irapuato and Saltillo‑Nuevo Laredo. The tender schedule sets a clarification meeting for 10 August, proposal submission on 14 September, and award announcement on 25 September. The notice was published in the Diario Oficial de la Federación; proposals must be submitted in Spanish and priced in Mexican pesos.
