Mexico links three suspects to migrant trafficking network in Tamaulipas border

A federal judge in Mexico indicted three individuals—identified as Gregorio “N”, Britani “N” and Balbina “N”—as members of a migrant‑trafficking organization operating in the border municipalities of Reynosa and Río Bravo, Tamaulipas. The suspects were apprehended during a raid on a residence in the Cumbres colonia of Río Bravo by the Federal Ministerial Police in coordination with the federal security cabinet. The operation seized four properties, twelve mobile phones, a camera, a vehicle, documents and cash.

The three were charged by the Federal Prosecutor’s Office for organized crime with the intent to traffic persons and placed in preventive detention at the Matamoros Execution Center. The judge ordered a four‑month period for further investigation.
