Mexico local education and entrepreneurship programs boost youth opportunities

Students of the Colegio de Estudios Científicos y Tecnológicos del Estado de México (CECyTEM) in Ixtapaluca marked the graduation of the 2023‑2026 generation in a ceremony attended by municipal president Felipe Arvizu and Director of Economic Development Paulina Labastida Salazar. The officials highlighted education as a pillar for municipal transformation, with Labastida Salazar stating, “Hoy no solo celebramos un título; celebramos el talento, disciplina y futuro de quienes pondrán en alto el nombre de nuestra tierra.”

In Chihuahua, federal deputy Manque Granados and State Secretary of Innovation and Economic Development Ulises Fernández led a free jewelry‑making workshop for residents of La Villa under the “Sabadito Emprendedor” program. The initiative aims to strengthen family and community ties while providing extra income, with Granados noting, “La sociedad se construye desde las familias y sus comunidades, por eso traemos este programa… para facilitar alternativas y oportunidades para las familias.”
