Mexico Municipal Leaders Celebrate Senior Achievements and Distribute Food Packages

In the municipality of Chicoloapan, State of Mexico, Mayor Javier Mendoza publicly honored local senior citizens who competed in the DIFEM State Golden Olympics. He highlighted gold‑medal winners María Guadalupe Amaya Ramírez in swimming and Donato Chávez Jaimes in stone‑throw, and also mentioned silver and bronze medalists, praising their discipline and the pride they brought to the town.

In Chihuahua’s capital, the municipal government announced that participants in the Programa Alimentario del Adulto Mayor (PAAM) may pick up their free food parcels from July 13 to July 17. Specific dates, times and community‑center locations were provided, and seniors were instructed to bring their program ID and to report any irregularities during distribution.
