Mexico municipal mobile service units aid neighborhoods in Juárez and Nuevo Laredo

The Ciudad Juárez municipal treasury deployed mobile units on Saturday, 27 June, at the intersection of Adolfo Christlieb Ibarrola and Rafael Preciado Hernández in the Gómez Morín colonia. Staff processed property‑tax payments, offered discounts on overdue charges, provided payment plans and reduced traffic‑violation fines. The programme, part of the “Cruzada por Juárez, Atención a las Causas, Ciudad Juárez por la Paz”, has so far raised more than 12.8 million pesos from mobile events.

In Nuevo Laredo, the “Presidencia Cerca de Ti” outreach set up assistance modules in the Plaza Pies Mojados (Bruno Delgado‑Guadalupe García). Residents received municipal and state services, medical screenings, legal advice, and social‑program enrollment. The event distributed a wheelchair, provided health checks (glucose, blood pressure, HIV and hepatitis testing), and processed property‑tax payments, document requests and cultural‑sport workshop registrations.

Both initiatives aim to bring government services directly to residents who work weekdays, reducing the need to travel to central offices.
