Mexico opens Honorary Consulate in Kütahya, Turkey
The Honorary Consulate of Mexico in Kütahya, Turkey, has officially opened to strengthen commercial, economic, and cultural ties between Mexico and the region. The opening ceremony was attended by various diplomats, including the Mexican Ambassador Francisco Javier Daz de Len and the Mexican Consul General in Istanbul Fierro Garza, alongside local political figures and business leaders.
Esin Güral Argat, appointed as the Honorary Consul of Mexico in Kütahya, emphasized that the consulate will serve as a bridge for trade, production, tourism, and youth exchange. Argat noted her intention to facilitate the transfer of Turkish industrial expertise and investment to Mexico, while bringing Mexican trade opportunities and partnerships to Anatolia. She highlighted her personal experience as an industrialist who has worked extensively within Mexican states such as Guanajuato, San Luis Potosí, Nuevo León, Mexico City, and Querétaro.
