Mexico's Bienestar pension registration opens June 22‑28
Mexico’s Secretariat of Bienestar announced that registration for the Pensión para Adultos Mayores and the Pensión Mujeres Bienestar will run nationwide from Monday 22 June to Sunday 28 June. Applicants must attend a local Bienestar module between 10:00 and 16:00, presenting official ID, CURP, birth certificate and a recent proof of address. The schedule is organized by the first letter of the applicant’s surname – A‑B on 22 June, D‑H on 23 June, I‑M on 24 June, N‑R on 25 June, S‑Z on 26 June, with all letters accepted on 27‑28 June for those who missed earlier days. Beneficiaries aged 65 or older receive 6,400 pesos bimonthly, while women aged 60‑64 receive 3,100 pesos.
The Secretariat also issued an alert that no additional data‑update requests are required to continue receiving payments; bogus messages urging beneficiaries to reply to emails or provide extra information are fraudulent. Official communications are limited to the government’s web portal and verified social‑media accounts, and payments are made directly to the Banco del Bienestar card without intermediaries.
