Mexico-Peru trade missions to resume following diplomatic normalization

The Mexican Peruvian Chamber of Commerce (CCMP) has announced it will resume sending trade missions to Peru to foster new investment and business opportunities following the normalization of diplomatic relations between the two nations.

Alejandro Ruiz Robles, Vice President of the CCMP, stated that business delegations are expected to return to Peru next year, with the first schedule of visits planned for release in November. While a diplomatic crisis and visa restrictions previously hindered official organized efforts, some Mexican investors continued to travel to Peru individually. The resumption of official ties is expected to provide greater security for the private sector and allow for more structured commercial encounters.
