Mexico program connects 210 SMEs with large commercial chains
The Conecta & Crece program has launched an initiative to integrate more than 210 micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) into large commercial supply chains. The program facilitated a regional business meeting that connected local producers and service providers with executives from 14 major companies capable of mass purchasing.
To ensure these small businesses can meet the rigorous standards of large corporations, the Secretaría de Economía e Innovación (SEI) and the Centro de Competitividad de México (CCMX) are providing regulatory and technical support. This assistance focuses on helping entrepreneurs achieve necessary certifications, production volumes, and quality standards required to become reliable suppliers within large-scale value chains.
