Mexico pushes education reforms in Guerrero and Tlaxcala
Guadalupe Eguiluz Bautista, a candidate for the State Coordination of the Committees for the Defense of Transformation and National Sovereignty in Guerrero, is touring the state's municipalities to promote a plan that links universities with productive sectors. She argues that stronger university‑industry partnerships will create jobs, foster innovation and keep local talent in Guerrero.
In Tlaxcala, the Autonomous University of Tlaxcala conferred 776 professional degrees, including licences, specialisations, master’s and doctoral titles. Rector Serafín Ortiz Ortiz highlighted the university’s 50‑year legacy and the humanist‑integrative model that stresses social responsibility, noting the high participation of women among graduates.
