Mexico searches for missing women while locating 66‑year‑old from Colima

Authorities and volunteers continue search efforts for two women who vanished in the municipality of Valparaíso. María de Jesús González Santoyo, 61, known as “Chuyita,” has been missing since July 1 after separating from her mother en route to work. Yolanda García Sarmiento, 31, disappeared on July 3 while traveling toward San Rafael de Las Tablas. Local officials have urged anyone with information to contact emergency services.

In a separate case, a 66‑year‑old woman from Colima who had been missing for about a month was found disoriented walking the streets of Guadalajara. Police identified her through surveillance footage and confirmed her disappearance report. She has been transferred to a mental‑health clinic for evaluation before reuniting with her family.
