Mexico State Congress reports 11 pending labor awards

The State Congress is currently facing 11 pending labor awards that require fulfillment. José Roberto García Castillo, president of the Junta de Coordinación Política (Jucopo), announced that the legislature plans to allocate resources from its 2027 budget to address these obligations.

While the exact total cost has not yet been determined, the 2027 Legislative Power Expenditure Budget project, totaling 349,863,000 pesos, already identifies provisions for obligations arising from labor procedures and judicial sentences. Specific cases include an award from the State Conciliation and Arbitration Tribunal for approximately 748,895.98 pesos, plus applicable interest and updates, as well as other cases where the final amounts remain to be quantified.
