Mexico technical universities sign cooperation accords to expand student opportunities

The Universidad Tecnológica Emiliano Zapata (UTEZ) and the Instituto Tecnológico de Cuautla signed an institutional collaboration agreement on June 19 in Cuernavaca. The pact aims to strengthen academic formation through joint projects in social service, professional internships, academic exchanges, and links with productive and social sectors. Participants included UTEZ rector Gabriela Navarro Macías and institute director Pedro Azuara Rodríguez.

Separately, the Universidad Tecnológica de Huejotzingo (UTH) and the Huejotzingo municipal government formalized a program guaranteeing free graduation for 100 students. The agreement, announced in Huejotzingo, Puebla, will allow the beneficiaries to obtain the Técnico Superior Universitario (TSU) degree without cost. UTH rector Mirna Toxqui Oliver and mayor Roberto Solís Valles highlighted the initiative as a means to remove economic barriers and promote professional development for local youth.
