Mexico traffic accidents leave three dead and multiple injured
Multiple fatal traffic accidents occurred in Mexico, including a head-on collision on the Mexico-Tuxpan highway in the Venustiano Carranza municipality. The crash involved a private vehicle operated by a CFE worker and an official unit carrying members of the Mexican Navy (Semar) who were patrolling Pemex pipelines. The incident resulted in the death of the CFE worker and left four marines with significant injuries.
In Mexico City, a separate accident on Periférico Sur near San Jerónimo Lídice in the Magdalena Contreras borough left two people dead. Preliminary investigations suggest a compact car lost control and struck a retaining wall, with speeding being considered a possible factor. Additionally, a collision involving four vehicles was reported on Paseo de la Reforma, resulting in three injuries.
