Mexico U17 women's volleyball team defeats Algeria

The Mexico women's U17 national volleyball team secured a 3-0 victory over Algeria in the classification round of the U17 Women's Volleyball World Championship held in Los Andes, Chile. The match scores were 25-12, 25-16, and 25-18.

With this win, Mexico moves to a 3-3 record across six tournament matches. This victory marks their first win in the classification round following a 2-3 finish in the group stage. The team previously recorded wins against Venezuela and Tunisia, while suffering losses to the Philippines, Peru, and Chile.

Mexican player Louanne Negrete, playing the outside hitter position, contributed two points in the match against Algeria. Throughout the tournament, Negrete has recorded 37 total points, including 30 attack points, six serves, and one block. Mexico is scheduled to face Brazil next in Group B.
