Mexico welfare agencies distribute pensions and dental prostheses

The Secretaría de Bienestar announced that on Thursday, July 15, pension payments for beneficiaries whose surnames begin with H, I, J or K will be deposited. Recipients can collect the cash at any bank ATM without visiting a Bienestar office. Payments for the July‑August bimonthly period range from 3,100 to 6,400 pesos depending on the specific program, such as the seniors’ pension (6,400 pesos) and the disability pension (3,300 pesos).

In Oaxaca, the State System for Integral Family Development (DIF) organized a “Dental Prosthesis Donation” day in the San Martín Mexicapam agency. The event produced and delivered 40 dental prostheses to 24 people, restoring essential functions such as chewing and speech. Director of Operations for Bienestar, Diego Sergio Zárate, said, “Dental prostheses mean much more than an aesthetic benefit; they help maintain tooth alignment, prevent bone loss and improve quality of life.”
