Mexico woman arrested for kidnapping and homicide in Villa Victoria

The State of Mexico Attorney General's Office (FGJEM) has arrested a woman, identified as Lucía “N”, for her alleged involvement in a kidnapping that resulted in the death of a man in Villa Victoria.

Investigations indicate that on January 15, 2024, the victim was approached on the streets of Villa Victoria by Lucía “N” and another individual. The suspects allegedly used a sharp object to force the victim into a vehicle. The victim's body was discovered days later, charred, in a residence located in the Ejido woods.

Following an investigation by the Public Ministry, an arrest warrant was issued. Lucía “N” has been transferred to the Almoloya de Juárez Social Reinsertion Penitentiary Center. If convicted, she faces a potential prison sentence of up to 140 years.
