Mexico's Beca Rita Cetina Scholarship Payments Schedule for August 2024

The Mexican government’s Beca Rita Cetina program is dispersing funds to students in basic education through the Banco del Bienestar card. Primary‑school beneficiaries receive a one‑time payment of 2,500 pesos, while secondary students get bimonthly transfers of 1,900 pesos plus an additional 700 pesos for each extra sibling enrolled at that level.

Payments are scheduled by the first letter of the beneficiary’s surname. For August 2024, deposits for letters D, E and F are due on 5 August, G on 6 August, H‑L on 7 August, M on 10 August, N‑Q on 11 August, R on 12 August, S on 13 August, and the remaining letters T‑Z on 14 August. The program’s total budget is 16.7 billion pesos, intended to support more than 6.6 million students nationwide.
