Mexico's Benito Juárez scholarships to resume payments in October 2026

The Coordinación Nacional de Becas para el Bienestar Benito Juárez confirms that the scholarship program pauses payments during the summer months of July and August, in line with the school calendar. The next regular disbursement for the broader Benito Juárez scholarships is scheduled for October 2026, when deposits will restart for beneficiaries in basic, medium‑secondary and higher education, with amounts determined by the specific grant (Rita Cetina, Universal Benito Juárez, Jóvenes Escribiendo el Futuro).

For the Rita Cetina component, which targets students in public primary schools, the agency has indicated that the upcoming payment will be made in August, following the usual alphabetical ordering of the family’s last name. Payments are transferred directly to the beneficiary’s Bank del Bienestar card, eliminating the need for additional paperwork. Families are advised to verify their enrollment status, check the official payment calendar and contact the coordination if deposits are not received on the scheduled date.
