Mexico's Bienestar program continues pension payouts in Colima and Nuevo León

The federal Bienestar program is maintaining its scheduled cash transfers for senior citizens, people with disabilities and eligible women in the states of Colima and Nuevo León. In Colima, deposits will be made through the Bienestar card up to July 29, following a calendar that assigns payment days by the first letter of the beneficiary’s last name—e.g., letters M on July 20, N‑Ñ‑O on July 21, and so on through W‑Z on July 29. Recipients can withdraw the funds at any bank ATM or use the card for purchases.

In Nuevo León, the payment schedule proceeds as announced, with beneficiaries whose surnames begin with M receiving their deposits on Monday. Officials stress that the money remains on the card and can be accessed at any time, debunking myths that it must be collected on the exact day. They also advise avoiding unnecessary trips to banks during hot weather and to seek assistance only from recognized government staff to prevent fraud.
