Mexico's CCE calls for investment certainty amid infrastructure plans
During the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Consejo Coordinador Empresarial (CCE), President José Medina Mora Icaza emphasized that attracting investment to Mexico requires certainty, security, energy, and water. He noted that without investment, there is insufficient growth to meet national demands and urged a transition from discourse to actionable results.
In response, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo announced a planned public and mixed investment of 8.4 trillion pesos over the next four years. This funding is intended for strategic infrastructure projects in sectors including energy, transport, water, ports, and housing, aimed at stimulating economic growth and supporting private investment.
