Mexico's INE Publishes Resolutions on New Political Party Registrations

The General Council of Mexico's Instituto Nacional Electoral (INE) has released the resolutions approving the registration of new national political parties. The decisions are posted on the INE platform and in the Diario Oficial de la Federación, providing full public access.

Publishing the resolutions is presented as a measure to strengthen transparency, accountability and legal certainty. When a registration request is approved, the party acquires legal status on July 1 of the year preceding the next ordinary federal election, gaining the rights and obligations established by the General Law of Political Parties.
