Argentinian provinces roll out new schools, health centers and infrastructure projects
Provincial authorities in several Argentine regions inaugurated a series of public‑works projects. In Jáchal, San Juan, Governor Marcelo Orrego marked the department’s 275th anniversary by opening a refurbished police station, paving the historic Eugenio Flores street and authorising upgrades to the Villa Mercedes water‑treatment plant, saying he was “happy to celebrate the 275° anniversary … inaugurating important works.”
In General Rodríguez, Buenos Aires Province, Governor Axel Kicillof presided over the opening of two new secondary‑school buildings and a primary‑care health centre, investments that will serve more than 1,500 students and expand local medical services.
Neuquén’s government launched the bidding process for a new multi‑purpose hall at EPET 19 in Plottier, a $2.5 billion project aimed at improving educational and sports facilities.
In Pozo Hondo, Santiago del Estero, Governor Elías Suárez inaugurated a municipal sports complex, delivered social‑housing units and completed dozens of kilometres of road paving and new public plazas, reinforcing the province’s housing and infrastructure agenda.
