Mexico's INAPAM Announces Senior Discounts for Grandfather's Day in August

The Instituto Nacional de las Personas Adultas Mayores (INAPAM) confirmed that holders of its senior‑citizen card will receive a range of discounts throughout August to mark Día del Abuelo. The institute clarified that no extra cash bonus will be provided, but permanent benefits will apply at participating restaurants, cafés, clothing and shoe stores, health services and public transport, with discounts typically ranging from 5% to 20%.

Specific promotions include 20% off at Darsky Coffee and Montmartre Bistro, 15% at Bellini Montecito and several other eateries, as well as discounts at Suburbia and Zapatería Speed. A separate announcement noted a 5% discount on pharmacy purchases at Sam’s Club, limited to that department.

INAPAM cards remain valid indefinitely and can be renewed without a set expiration date, provided the card is legible and not damaged.
