Mexico's INAPAM expands senior discounts to taxis and Suburbia stores

The Instituto Nacional de las Personas Adultas Mayores (INAPAM) has extended benefits for seniors aged 60 and over. In the State of Mexico, cardholders can obtain reduced taxi fares at participating services, such as Montón Cuarteles (20% off) and Servi Taxis Francisco Villa (40% off). Discounts are applied directly to the fare and may vary by provider; the program is not yet available in every Mexican state.

In addition, INAPAM cardholders will receive exclusive price reductions at all Suburbia department‑store locations across the country during the Grandfather's Day promotions in August. Shoppers must present their valid INAPAM credential at checkout to receive the discounts on selected clothing, footwear and accessories. The initiative, part of a partnership between the federal agency and the retailer, aims to lower everyday expenses for older adults.
