Coahuila Senator announces 2026 Legislative Seedling program

Senator Gabriel Elizondo Pérez has announced that more than 100 university students from various institutions in Coahuila have registered for the 2026 Legislative Seedling (Semillero Legislativo) program.

Participants have submitted proposals covering key areas such as education, health, security, economic development, the environment, and citizen participation. Following the submission period, these projects will undergo an analysis to determine which ones have the potential to be transformed into formal legislative initiatives within the Senate of the Republic.

To encourage broader participation from both public and private higher education institutions across all 38 municipalities of Coahuila, the application deadline has been extended until October 26. The program aims to connect younger generations with parliamentary activities and provide a platform for their concerns to influence concrete political actions.
