Interapa, the water authority in the Mexican state of San Luis Potosí, has intensified supervision of chlorination systems in wells serving San Luis Potosí, Soledad de Graciano Sánchez, Cerro de San Pedro, Villa de Pozos and the Bocas and La Pila delegations. Technicians conduct regular technical tours to verify that equipment functions correctly, that chlorine is applied properly and that parameters stay within the limits set by health authorities, aiming to keep the water safe before it reaches households.
