Mexico's Lotería Nacional releases ticket for ENSM 90th anniversary

Lotería Nacional unveiled a commemorative ticket to mark the 90th anniversary of the Escuela Normal Superior de México (ENSM). The ticket will appear in the Superior Sorteo 2892 draw scheduled for 31 July, offering a top prize of 17 million pesos, a total prize pool of 51 million pesos and an issuance of 2.4 million tickets bearing the ENSM image.

The unveiling ceremony was attended by education officials including subsecretary of Basic Education Angélica Noemí Juárez Pérez, director‑general of Lotería Nacional Olivia Salomón, the head of the Federal Educational Authority in Mexico City Luciano Concheiro Bórquez, ENSM director Gonzalo López Rueda and a representative of Secretary of Education Mario Delgado. Speakers highlighted ENSM’s historic role in professionalising secondary‑level teaching and its alignment with the Nueva Escuela Mexicana project, noting that “forming teachers means shaping a nation’s future.”
