Mexico's August 2026 festivals draw crowds across states

A series of regional festivals and fairs are scheduled across Mexico in August 2026. The Secretaría de Turismo of Morelos announced the Feria Patronal de Tlacotepec and the Feria del Pan y la Gastronomía, running from 1 to 16 August and highlighting local artisans, bakers and cultural traditions. In Puebla, the Senate promoted the Feria de Coronango 2026, set for 8 to 16 August, emphasizing religious, cultural and gastronomic activities. San Luis Potosí will host the Feria Nacional Potosina (FENAPO) from 7 to 30 August, featuring concerts, a “Foro de las Estrellas” and a large public‑free program; the state’s Protección Civil will deploy more than 170 personnel to ensure safety. Baja California’s Valle de Guadalupe will hold the Fiestas de la Vendimia from 5 to 30 August, expecting about 90 000 visitors and an economic impact exceeding 600 million pesos, with a focus on sustainable viticulture and enotourism. Tlaxcala’s Feria de Ferias 2026 aims to set a Guinness World Record with a massive simultaneous pulque tasting, while the municipal government of Huamantla invites youth to submit photographs of the Feria Internacional del Arte Efímero y la Dalia. Together, these events showcase Mexico’s cultural diversity, generate significant tourism revenue and provide platforms for local producers, artists and communities.
