Mexico's Ángeles Verdes Aid Over 61,000 Tourists During 2026 World Cup
Mexico’s Secretariat of Tourism reported that the Ángeles Verdes program assisted 61,972 visitors from 46 countries during the FIFA World Cup 2026. Between June 8 and July 10 the mobile units provided 22,261 services, including 46,937 direct roadside aid, 5,051 calls to the 078 assistance line and 6,949 information sessions at the Felipe Ángeles International Airport.
The operation covered the tournament venues in Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey and logged more than 1.3 million kilometres on national highways. Coordination was handled 24/7 by the Center of Geointelligence, ensuring continuous support for fans travelling across the country.
