Mexico's Orange Day Campaign Highlights Violence Against Women

On Orange Day, Acción Nacional organized a keynote conference featuring activist, writer and women's rights advocate Eufrosina Cruz Mendoza. Party leader Mario Riestra highlighted the event as part of a permanent agenda to promote equality and eradicate gender‑based violence through ongoing sensitization, dialogue and citizen participation.

Separately, the Jurisdicción Sanitaria 04 conducted a staff‑sensitisation activity led by mental‑health coordinator Juan Torres. He called for the public to recognize all forms of violence—including psychological, emotional, sexual, economic and omissions—and to report incidents and seek specialised support, reinforcing a culture of respect and prevention.
