Mexico's Palacio Nacional adopts puppy for emotional support

The Mexican Presidency has officially introduced Rollo, a mixed-breed puppy adopted to reside at Palacio Nacional. Under the care of the General Directorate of Digital Communication of the Presidency, the dog is intended to provide emotional support and well-being to the staff working within the historic building.

Videos released by the government show the puppy playing in the gardens and exploring various offices. While the term “works at Palacio Nacional” was used informally to present him, his role is focused on companionship rather than administrative duties. Rollo joins a community of animals at the site, which also includes a population of cats that reside in the gardens and outdoor areas.
