Mexico starts July 2026 Bienestar pension deposits for millions

The Mexican government began the July‑August 2026 Bienestar pension payments on July 6, with deposits scheduled to continue through July 29. Payments are made directly to Banco del Bienestar cards and are staggered according to the first letter of each beneficiary's paternal surname.

The program allocates 6,400 pesos for adults over 65, 3,100 pesos for women aged 60‑64, 3,300 pesos for persons with disabilities, 1,650 pesos for working mothers, and 6,450 pesos for the Sembrando Vida initiative. In this bimonth, 13,788,274 senior adults and 2,783,248 women will receive benefits, bringing the total number of beneficiaries to 16,571,522. The government has earmarked more than 137.8 billion pesos for these payments.

Because the Secretariat of Bienestar has not yet released an official payment calendar, many recipients are checking the Banco del Bienestar mobile app to confirm whether their deposit has been credited.
