Mexico's Rita Cetina Scholarship Distributes 2,500-Peso Cards to Over 111,000 Primary Students

The Mexican government’s Rita Cetina scholarship provides a one‑time payment of 2,500 pesos to support uniforms and school supplies for primary‑school children nationwide. Parents can verify their child’s registration and status on the official portal (becaritacetina.gob.mx) using their Llave MX credentials.

In Baja California, the distribution operation begins on 25 May, with more than 111 000 families expected to receive the cards during the final week of May. The program is part of the broader Becas del Bienestar initiative aimed at improving educational resources for students in public primary schools across the country.
