Mexico distributes tens of thousands of food baskets to families in several states

State social assistance agencies across Mexico have delivered large quantities of food aid to families in need. In Puebla's capital, the Sistema Estatal para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia (SEDIF) handed out 12,872 food baskets to 3,218 residents. In Chihuahua, PRI territorial leader Fermín Ordóñez Arana distributed more than 2,000 egg packages (about four tonnes) to families in multiple neighborhoods. Puebla mayor Pepe Chedraui oversaw the delivery of over 4,000 food baskets in San Baltazar Tetela under the "Alimentación Imparable" program. The Bienestar regional delegation in Nuevo Laredo began its second round of distribution, sending 25,480 baskets to families, part of a five‑delivery annual schedule that also supplies about 10,000 baskets to neighboring municipalities. Enrique Galindo launched a new food program intended to benefit more than 16,000 families. Additionally, the San Luis Potosí government reported that 6,800 families in Ciudad del Maíz receive social support, with plans to expand coverage.
