Mexico’s Secretariat of Public Education (SEP) has opened a call for guides and promoters for the new Margarita Maza National Baccalaureate. The initiative aims to democratize access to upper secondary education through an integral support model.
The recruitment targets university graduates between the ages of 22 and 29 in fields such as Communication, Culture, Science, Technology, Mathematics, Philosophy, History, Society, and Pedagogy. Applicants must possess a degree, professional certificate, or proof of studies and have schedule availability.
There are four specific roles available: • Pedagogical Guides: Support students with educational platforms, academic activities, and study organization. • Accompaniment Guides: Provide academic and psycho-emotional guidance. • Cultural Promoters: Design and implement artistic and cultural activities. • Sports Promoters: Promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
According to Undersecretary of Upper Secondary Education Tania Rodríguez Mora, the selection process involves four stages: online pre-registration, document upload, results consultation, and training. Registration remains open until August 21.
