In Tamaulipas, Adriana Marcela Hernández Campos will leave her post as state Health Secretary after just over three months in office. Ricardo Guerrero Morales, previously head of the Governor's Office, is set to replace her. The reshuffle also appears to affect the heads of the General Directorate of Health Policies, the Directorate of Financial Resources, and the Directorate of Human Resources.

In Baja California, Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda announced the departure of Netzahualcóyotl Jauregui Santillán from the State Welfare Secretariat. Jauregui, who has served in the role since November 2021 and briefly left to pursue a mayoral bid, returned after the 2024 elections before stepping down again. The governor praised his work, saying, “Le deseamos mucho éxito a nuestro querido amigo Netza Jáuregui… El bienestar compartido seguirá avanzando.” Both changes come amid broader discussions of state officials’ involvement in political campaigns.
