In Torreón, the city's Transit and Road Authority urged drivers to maintain responsible driving and obey speed limits during the school vacation period, warning that reduced traffic should not encourage speeding, distracted driving, or alcohol use. Director Martha Alicia Faz Dávila emphasized the need to follow traffic regulations to protect motorists, passengers, pedestrians and cyclists.

Meanwhile, in Tamaulipas, the end of the vacation season caused massive congestion on the Victoria‑Monterrey highway as thousands of travelers returned home. Long queues slowed traffic, prompting authorities to advise drivers to keep safe distances, respect speed limits and exercise caution to avoid accidents.
