Mexico's Welfare Secretariat expands contracts and launches community fairs

The Secretariat of Welfare in Mexico awarded Servicios Broxel a new contract (EA‑913003989‑N0196‑2026) to continue dispersing resources for social programs after the state audit office in Hidalgo flagged over 10 million pesos of missing documentation. Secretary Ricardo Gómez Moreno said the contract terms were tightened to require the company to provide final distribution data to beneficiaries, and the audit observations were resolved once the firm supplied the required paperwork.

In Michoacán, the government inaugurated a Feria del Bienestar in Tumbiscatío as part of the Plan Michoacán por la Paz y la Justicia. Subsecretary Jesús Valencia Guzmán announced a 57 billion‑peso investment covering security, economic development, infrastructure, water, education, health, housing, culture, women, youth and indigenous justice. The fair offers free access to civil‑registry, tax, customs, IMSS and electricity services, as well as health visits for the elderly and disabled and educational activities for children.
