MEXT to host entrepreneurship education event in Osaka

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) will host the “MEXT Autumn Entrepreneurship Festival! 2026 in Kansai” on November 6 and 7 at QUINTBRIDGE in Osaka. Managed by the KADOKAWA ASCII Research Institute, the free event focuses on the theme of “turning failure into learning” to support entrepreneurship education in schools.

The two-day program is designed for teachers, businesses, local governments, and entrepreneurs. The first day, titled “Know and Meet,” will feature input talks from MEXT, programs for sharing failures among participants, pitches from local practitioners in the Kansai region, and networking sessions.

The second day, “Experience and Learn,” will include practical presentations by award-winning teachers, five hands-on workshops, and a keynote speech by Naohiko Hinoda, Chairperson of the Osaka Yuhigaoka Gakuen school corporation. The second day will also be available for online viewing.
