Mezitli Municipality to build second market in Akdeniz Neighborhood

Mezitli Municipality has initiated work to establish a second market area in the Akdeniz Neighborhood in response to high demand from local residents. The project aims to reduce congestion in the existing market area and provide easier access for citizens.

According to Mezitli Mayor Ahmet Serkan Tuncer, the new site will be equipped with essential infrastructure, including surface paving, lighting, restrooms, and a prayer room (mescit). The municipality stated that the goal is to create a more organized and comfortable shopping environment for both local vendors and residents.
