Mezquita-Catedral de Córdoba implements advanced fire safety systems
The Mezquita-Catedral de Córdoba has implemented an advanced fire safety and maintenance system for its rooftops. Following a previous fire, the site underwent significant security upgrades, including a specialized network of hydrants that provides immediate water access at various heights.
The system features over one hundred alarms distributed throughout the complex, which trigger immediate notifications to firefighters and visual verifications. The safety infrastructure includes a pressurized water network that remains active and is purged every fifteen days to ensure functionality. This specialized setup has received praise from international experts, including firefighters from Paris.
