Mfantsiman Girls SHS to celebrate 66th anniversary

Mfantsiman Girls Senior High School will celebrate its 66th Anniversary Speech and Prize-Giving Day from September 24 to September 27, 2026. The event is being hosted by the 2001-year group of the Mfantsiman Old Girls’ Association (MOGA).

Minister of Education Haruna Iddrisu is scheduled to attend the main ceremony on Saturday, September 26, as the Special Guest of Honour. The anniversary theme, “Unlearn to Relearn: The Art of Adaptability in a Rapidly Changing World,” focuses on preparing students for technological and educational shifts through resilience and adaptability.

The four-day program includes a street carnival, a health walk, career mentorship sessions, and a medical outreach initiative called “Share2Care.” Through this initiative, medical supplies will be donated to the school’s infirmary and the Saltpond Government Hospital. The celebrations will conclude with a Founders’ Day and Thanksgiving Service, alongside an awards ceremony recognizing academic and staff achievements.
