Mfoundi High Court receives modern, air-conditioned buildings in Cameroon

Cameroon's Minister of State and Keeper of the Seals, Laurent Esso, officially handed over two modern buildings to the Mfoundi High Court (TGI du Mfoundi) in Yaoundé on August 13, 2026. This initiative is part of a broader government effort, driven by President Paul Biya, to modernize judicial infrastructure.

The new facilities include air-conditioned and hyper-sonorized courtrooms designed to optimize debate conditions and maintain concentration among magistrates and litigants. The complex also features ultramodern deliberation rooms and separate cells for men and women, aiming to improve the working capacity of one of the country's most heavily utilized jurisdictions.
