MG expands electric vehicle presence in Portugal and Germany

MG has reached a significant milestone in the Portuguese market, surpassing 5,000 units sold. The brand's growth is driven by a diverse range of electrified vehicles, including hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and 100% electric models. While hybrid models have led total sales for the year, fully electric vehicles have seen the most recent surge in customer interest.

In the industrial vehicle sector, MG Commercial is expanding its presence at the IAA Transportation 2026 event in Hannover, Germany. The brand is debuting two new battery-electric buses: the iEV12 urban bus and the iEV12LE interurban bus. The iEV12LE, making its world premiere, is a low-entry model designed for suburban services, offering a range of over 650 km according to the e-SORT 2 test cycle.
