MG Motor to become title sponsor of Indian Super League

MG Motor is set to become the title sponsor of the Indian Super League (ISL) in a two-year deal valued at over ₹25 crore. Following the conclusion of the final paperwork, the competition will be officially renamed the MG Indian Super League (MG ISL).

This agreement marks the league's first title sponsorship since Hero MotoCorp ended its nearly decade-long association after the 2022-23 season. As part of the deal, the MG logo will be integrated into the league's crest, and MG vehicles will be awarded to the league's top players at the end of the season.

The new season is scheduled to kick off on October 10, 2026, with a double-header featuring Bengaluru FC against Sporting Club Delhi and FC Goa against Chennaiyin FC. The upcoming phase will consist of 78 matches running through January 17, 2027, and will include the league's first expansion into Manipur.
